Marthin Botha

Born in South Africa, Dr Marthin Botha studied and qualified as a pharmacist, then went on and obtained a PhD in Biochemistry in Switzerland. He lost interest in the drugs from the pharmaceutical industry and went to Germany, where he studied Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Osteopathy. He arrived in Australia in 1970, first setting up practice in Melbourne. In 1974, he moved to Far North Queensland. It was there, studying part time that he completed his B. A. in Psychology. He then went to China to study Traditional Chinese Medicine. He spent another eight months in India studying Ayurvedic Medicine. In 1992 he moved to his present location in the rural city of Griffith in New South Wales where he continues his practice of Natural Medicine. Among the male contestants on the show, David was selected to be a team member for the day by the Harlem Globetrotters. In 2010, David joined 20 past “Bachelors” and “Bachelorettes” on ABC’s summer hit “The Bachelor Pad”. The participants were united under one roof in a competitive reality series to compete for $250,000. David and partner Natalie Getz ultimately won the competition. Initially following the linear path with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Education, Mary Beth Lodge has been a lifelong student of health studies and mind body medicine. Her background in the traditional medical world led to a frustration with the compartmentalization of treatments and an exploration of Alternative Medicine Concepts. Now she combines the principles of Subtle Energies in Healing and the concepts of Neuroscience to design practical solutions for lifestyle changes and personal as well as professional development.

As a Certified Life Coach and Certified Clinical Hypnotist, Mary Beth uses the power of thought and imagination as well as the principles of learning to design programs to guide individuals and groups to their fullest potential.
